3 yearsThis bloke rings me up sayin he's #### #### from O2 or something, but i've never even used O2 in my life. So i played it cool and asked him for his bank info cos i'm skint af. Guess what? He hung up on me real quick lol!3 yearsI received a call from a woman with an Indian accent on 01217146558 who claimed to represent a company called Guardian. She stated that we had an account with them designed to stop unsolicited calls, and that it was time for renewal. To proceed, she insisted on obtaining our bank card details. Naturally, I declined, and they promptly hung up. What’s particularly concerning is that we have an ex-directory number; the only individuals who have it are our GP and the bank, yet somehow she knew our surname. If you’re with BT and want to block the last caller, you can do so easily. Just pick up your home phone and dial 1572. After that, press 1 and follow the prompts to add that number to your 'Personal Blocklist.' You can manage your blocklist preferences anytime by adjusting your personal settings. Additionally, you can check any junk voicemails through the main menu options.Guardian3 yearsThey called me claiming they could stop scam calls and asked for my card details. He started by saying my number was originally with O2 but had been switched to a different network. Then he started trying to fish out who I’m with now. I told him he should’ve known that already if he was truly calling for O2 since my contract ended years ago. He got annoyed ’cause I wouldn’t give any details. I just kept chuckling and asked what else he wanted before hanging up and blocking the number.Derek3 yearsGot a call from a bloke saying my O2 contract needed renewing.
