I got caught up in a boiler replacement scam. They ended up pocketing the grant money and still messed me about. Should’ve been covered completely, no hidden costs at all.

just used the government boiler grant called simply eco, really helped me with the cost of a new heating system!

I was told about this Simply Eco government grant, but there was some confusion. They said I needed to put in $509 for the installation, but my carer got told it was £709 instead. Apparently, the payment is due to the contractor once the installation is all done. Bit of a muddle, really.
