Earlier today, I received a call from a young lady named Jenny who was pitching me a broadband deal for just £25 a month. She had a rather noticeable foreign accent, making it seem like the call was coming from some distant call centre abroad.

Received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be from EE, saying they had an exclusive deal to upgrade my iPhone. It quickly turned into them trying to fish for details to get into my EE account. Definitely a scam!

I've been approached with a supposed 30% discount on my O2 bill. They requested my email or a text from an O2 number, claiming they'd get back to me later, but then abruptly ended the call. It all feels rather dodgy, and I wouldn't trust it.

I received a call claiming to be from EE, but the moment I picked up, they didn't let me say anything before abruptly hanging up on me. Quite odd, really!

Received a phone call claiming to be from O2, offering a tempting 20-30% off my phone bill. When I inquired about their location, they insisted they were from the O2 discount team. They then asked if I was the account holder, to which I replied that if they were indeed O2, they ought to already have that information on file. Suddenly, they hung up without another word. Quite suspect, if you ask me!

Received a call from Sky today touting a hefty 30% off. When they inquired about my last bill, I couldn't recall the amount, and they said they’d ring me again tomorrow once I've had a chance to check! Quite funny, really!

I just received a call from O2, claiming they were offering a whopping 45% off my phone bill. The only issue is, I’m not even a customer of theirs! When I pointed this out to the caller, they promptly hung up on me. Definitely sounds like a scam to me! Just a heads up, everyone. Stay vigilant!

Had a rather dodgy call from someone touting a 45% discount for the next six months... They even provided a six-digit code! It felt a bit off, so I decided to hang up. Moments later, I got another call, this time from a London number. The way they tried to confirm they were speaking to the right person was all wrong - not at all how these things are normally done. Just a word of warning: steer clear of sharing that code they send you. Absolute nonsense!

Claiming to be from 3 Mobile with some sort of promotional offer, this call came out of the blue for me. I've had no prior dealings with them whatsoever. The woman on the line was quite courteous, which was a refreshing change, but I’m convinced it’s a scam.

I received a call promising a whopping 45 per cent discount on my mobile bill. I politely declined, pointing out that if they were genuinely from my mobile provider, they would be aware of my current plan. To my surprise, the caller then had the audacity to ask me, "Madam, why don't you pay your mobile bill?" before abruptly ending the call! I've since blocked the number.

The phone rang for merely five seconds before it disconnected. Clearly, it's a dodgy number, especially since it’s reported here. When I attempted to ring back (with my number hidden, of course), I got a message saying that calls to this particular number are not allowed. What a bunch of clowns!
