They rang me, mentioning a small accident in England from a few years back, but I only spent a year living there. I’m a bit iffy about the name they used. When they first phoned, I said yes, thinking it was about me, but couldn’t quite catch what they were saying apart from the “minor accident” bit, so I just ended the call. Seems they had my name mixed up or something.

I was fast asleep when the phone rang but I instantly knew the number, ive also blocked loads of similar ones lately. I like messing with them, they say: you’ve had an accident. I reply: oh really, was it del in the robin reliant, nigel in the ferrari or lewis in the porsche? It usually leaves them confused and they end up hanging up. So now another dodgy number added to my blocked list which is way bigger than my contacts thanks to these jokers lol

‭0121 667 6352‬ rang me saying it was about a “recent accident you’ve been involved in”. I told them it was a scam since I haven’t had any accident, but they just replied “no it’s not” and then cut the call!

When I picked up, some recorded voice said it was ATA, and that all their operators were tied up but they'd ring back later or something??? If they were that busy, why even bother callin' me in the first place? Gave them the block straight away!

They’ve been ringing me on and off yesterday and today - absolute nightmare. When I picked up, they claimed I’d been in some sort of accident. I said no, and they went on to say ‘maybe someone in your family has had an accident recently’. I just told them to jog on, total scammers.

Got a ring from 0121 667 6352. The bloke said he was Michael from some company called CMA Nationwide. When I asked what he wanted, he just told me to "F off" and slammed the phone down. Well, at least I won’t be getting any more annoying calls from him. Sorted!

Brash bloke from Liverpool (def not from Birmingham) went all defensive when I asked who he was re a 'car accident'. We get loads of cold calls and dodgy scams about fake computer problems on our home phone. This was the first time it happened on my mobile. Told him where to shove it and hung up.

They asked if I’d been in any accidents over the past three years. When I said I’d had a few (a tiny fib), he got really nasty and called me thick for asking that. I kept asking about what details he had on file and when exactly, but he just went off on me again and then ended the call 😂

They said they were calling from some legal firm, Legal Solutions or something, and somehow already knew my name. Then they went on about some recent accident or incident. I told them I hadn’t been in any, and they asked again. I just repeated I hadn’t had any accidents. Eventually they got it. Didn’t give them any of my details, never do.

Somebody rang me asking if I’d been sorted out properly after supposedly damaging a car. I told them I’ve never even had a crash or harmed a vehicle, plus I work nights and was just woken up by their call. The agent just snapped back with “then turn your phone off.” Anyone in healthcare will know that switching your phone off isn’t something we can just do. Proper rude and really got on my nerves.
