Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was from BT, worried about my internet security - funny thing is, my broadband isn’t even with BT. She spent nearly five minutes trying to convince me she wasn’t a scammer and that my connection was at risk. She was pretty pushy and kept going on about vulnerabilities, which made me really suspicious. Eventually, I had to just hang up because she wouldn’t stop. Once I looked her number up on Google during the call, it was clear to me it was a scam.
