I’ve received a few of these recorded calls recently, claiming to be from BT Broadband, warning me that my service would be cut off unless I hit the button for ‘1’. Considering I don't even have a BT line or any broadband with them, it was clear to me that the message was a sham. The voice was that of a rather articulate gentleman, though I’ve also encountered similar messages featuring female voices. It’s definitely a scam, and I’d advise others to be cautious!
