Got a spam call today even though I’m on the telephone preference service. The caller claimed to be from a firm named Smiths and said I’d been in some sort of accident recently, which is rubbish. The person was pretty rude and ended the call abruptly when I told them to stop bothering me. Proper annoying!

I received a call from this number on my mobile phone and I couldn’t quite catch the name of the person on the other end. They were claiming that I had been in an accident that wasn’t my doing, which I promptly informed them was a falsehood. When I pressed them for their identity, they abruptly ended the call. It feels to me like they’re fishing for clients through unsolicited calls. I can’t shake the worry about how they managed to get a hold of my mobile number in the first place.

I received a call from someone claiming to be returning a missed call of mine. The trouble is, I didn't call them at all! It feels rather dodgy, if you ask me. I can’t help but wonder if they're trying to prey on older individuals, perhaps counting on the fact that they might be a bit forgetful. It's quite unethical, really.
