Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT’s tech support, probably just fishing for my personal info. Just another dodgy number to add to the block list.

some guy, sounded asian, called me out of nowhere trying to sell something. i told him straight away my number’s on the do not call list, and asked him not to ring me again cause i was just gonna block him. ended up blocking his number after that.

Got a call from a Birmingham number, but I’m in Portsmouth. The call quality was awful. When I asked if it was a sales pitch, the guy said no, just wanted to chat about some services. I asked what kind of services he needed me to provide, and he sounded unsure. Then he said it was about fixing his car. Since he called from Birmingham, I asked for his local address, and weirdly, he just hung up. I reckon I could’ve kept him on the line way longer. If you’re gonna waste my time, I’ll make sure to waste yours too - and your call rating will definitely take a hit!

Just got the same call and I ended up hanging up straight away. I don't need these scammers causing me any stress.

I got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet (which is with BT as well) was getting hacked whenever I went online. I told them I wasn’t going to let them guide me through anything and said I’d contact BT myself. Then I hung up. After that, I phoned BT who told me it was a scam. The number they used was 0121 646 3629.

This morning I got a call with the exact same message as someone else mentioned before, so I ended up just hanging up straight away.
