i got a call on my home phone (01216385249) from someone claiming to be from talk talk’s tech support. i’ve had loads of calls like this from various numbers before, and ive blocked each one as it came through. seems like they keep trying with new numbers.

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk. As soon as I started questioning him, he abruptly ended the call.

Picked up the phone and a lady said she was from TalkTalk, telling me my internet would be cut off unless I followed which ever steps she gave, saying my computer had a virus. I told her I was actually with BT, which then made her say she was with Openreach, not TalkTalk. I told her it sounded like a scam, and she just ended the call right away.

I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent who claimed my internet router was being compromised. She insisted she needed to get into my computer to sort it out. I quickly realised it was a scam and told her so before ending the conversation.

On Monday 13th November 2017 around 10:05 I got a call but when I tried replying with the last three digits as usual there was no answer. I checked the number using 1471 and found out it’s registered in Birmingham. When I rang back the number, it connected to something called "bt buzz."
