Been getting calls from TalkTalk scammers loads this week, about ten times now. Most of them come from 0121 numbers, but there was one from a 01434 number. As soon as they realise you’re on to them, they just cut off, which is at least a bit of a relief. Shame they don’t bother to take your number off their list properly though.

Today I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT. She said there was an issue with my internet and that my service would be cut off in a couple of hours. She told me to visit a website to get a code to prove the call was genuine. I mentioned I already had the same call earlier, then I ended the call and blocked the number right away. The number was 01643154128.

Got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying that there was an issue with my router. I asked if they could connect me to their billing team since I had a problem with my account. Suddenly, the call just dropped. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call saying my router was having issues. It’s definitely a trick, ‘cause everything’s fine with it. Looks like a scam to me.
