a guy with an asian accent rang, said he was from the talk talk tech team and mentioned some broadband problems nearby. he asked me about the number of flashing lights on my router. i ended the call pretty quick and later had a feeling it was a scam, so i looked it up and yup, definitely sounded like one.

This number just rang me up as well, saying it was TalkTalk and that there was a problem with my internet. I had a bad feeling about it straight away and hung up. Guess I was right to be wary after reading the comments here.

I got a call from this number, and the person said they were from TalkTalk, telling me there was an issue with my internet. When I asked for a number to ring back, they gave me 0203 1292 367. Turns out that number is linked to a known scam pretending to be TalkTalk. Looks like both numbers are connected to the same scam.

This number rang my partner saying they were from Virgin and that there was an issue with our new router, which isn’t true at all. When he asked for a contact number to verify they were really from Virgin, the caller just snapped back with, “you don't believe me, do you?” We hung up straight away after that.

Got a call a moment ago and as soon as I picked up, the person just dropped the call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a phone call a minute ago from some folks pretending to be TalkTalk, saying they were in charge of my internet. That’s not true at all, so I just hung up straight away. Seems like just another pack of scammers trying their luck.
