Got a call with no one talking, but I could hear loads of busy chatter from a call centre in the background. The people sounded Indian or some other Asian accent. Pretty sure it was just some telemarketer trying to get through silently.

Got a call from someone saying they were BT tech support, said there was an issue with my internet. The guy spoke with a really thick Indian accent. Once I mentioned I wasn't a BT customer, he just ended the call right away.

There was loads of noise in the background and when I tried talking, no one replied, so I ended up just hanging up. I reckon it was one of those calls claiming to be from TalkTalk, asking to get into my computer. I've been getting loads of these types of calls recently and I always report them to TalkTalk. The annoying thing is, the callers seem to switch numbers all the time, never sticking to just one.

Honestly, I have no clue who that was since my Panasonic phone is on “do not disturb” all day every day. Only numbers in the “allowed” list we put together are able to ring us. I check the call history occasionally and get rid of any odd numbers we don’t know. Gotta admit, the weird calls have really dropped since I set it up like that. Just erased a 01216294384 from today’s list.

I just ended the call as soon as I picked up.

this bloke from an asian call centre rang, claiming he was with talk talk about issues with our internet. told him we dont even have a computer here, which really seemed to throw him off. then he asked if i was linda williams, i said yes, and he quickly said sorry and ended the call. pretty annoying but at least he owned up in the end.
