A woman with a Caribbean accent rang me claiming to be from BT about my internet. She mentioned they'd been checking my line for a few days and noticed the speed wasn't up to scratch. She asked if I'd spotted any issues. I told her I was ending the call as I suspected it was a scam. She cut off right away. I'd heard about a similar thing before where an automated message warned about broadband problems.
