Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk tech support trying to sort out my internet. I told him straight up I work in IT, so I knew exactly what he was up to and that I wasn’t even with TalkTalk. After a bit, he gave me a number starting with the Birmingham code, but kept saying he was based in West London. Kept telling him to take my info off their list, kept insisting, and eventually he just hung up on me.
