Some woman with an Asian accent called me, claiming she was with the ‘Savers Club’. I wasn’t interested in any sales, so I told her to take me off their list and hung up. Honestly, do they really think we’re that daft?!

I picked up the phone and was greeted by a young Asian woman on the other end. As I began to explain that I was tied up at the moment, she completely cut me off and hung up as soon as I mentioned that I couldn’t chat. Frustrated, I tried to ring back to file a complaint about her discourteous behaviour, but I was met with a voicemail service that just kept asking for my number. Quite the inconvenience!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who said his name was Mike. He phoned me at 12:01 pm and claimed to be from something called ‘Savers Club’. When I asked him to clarify his name and the company again, he just hung up on me straight away.
