I picked up the call but as soon as I said hello, the person just hung up on me. When I tried calling back right away, it went straight to some kind of answering machine. Later, I used another phone line at work to ring the same number, and an automated message came on saying something like ‘oops, you better double-check that number’. Feels like a dodgy scam to me - they call first, hang up when you answer, then if you ring back, you probably get charged a fortune.

I got a call at work today from a number that played an automated voice about some bt fraud thing. It told me to press 1 to sort it out, but I reckon it was a scam trying to reel you into expensive premium lines. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away.

Got this robocall saying they’re from BT and that my internet is infected with malware. They wanted me to press a number to speak with 'tech support'. Yeah, right, total scam rubbish!
