I didn’t pick up first time, then about an hour later I got another call from a different 0121 number. Then, weirdly, an hour after that, a completely different 0121 number rang me again! Seriously, do these idiots just never quit?

this number called me twice today but there was total silence both times. i reckon they want you to ring back so you end up paying! most likely scammers pretending to be from bt, talktalk or some internet provider, warning that your connection's been compromised. i've had plenty of similar calls before, but at least those scammers were actual people on the line. i'm registered with the telephone preference service, but it doesn't stop these lot at all. they almost always call from overseas, probably india or nearby, using tech to make it look like a uk number. complete cowboys!

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with TalkTalk, who started by asking how my day was going. When I asked what the call was about, she mentioned something about our internet speed. I handed the phone over to my husband, who told her everything was fine, then she just ended the call.

Just got a call from 01215 391274, they said they were from BT. Obviously, it was fishy so I’ve blocked the number straight away.

I picked up and said hello a couple of times, then after a bit, some robotic voice just said goodbye and disconnected. Strange call!

Was a bloke claiming to be from TalkTalk, said he was my internet provider and asked how I was doing. I didn’t say anything and he just ended the call. Seems like it might’ve been some sort of scam.

i got a call from a woman claiming to be with BT Openreach, saying someone was hacking into our internet. this was just as our internet had been down all weekend, which was a bit odd. i told her i don’t chat to strangers cold-calling and i’d contact my provider if anything was wrong. she then hung up on me abruptly. i’ve just had another call from a different number, saying the same thing about hacking. sounds like it might be the same lot trying the same trick?
