Got a call first thing this morning and it woke us up. We’re pretty old and our joints aren’t great, so couldn’t scramble to the phone quick enough - missed them completely. Haven’t had a dodgy call like that for ages, so thought it was one of those scams again. I rang 1471 to check the number - yep, definitely another scam. Forgot to turn off the router last night, so that’s on me! Ruined a nice bit of sleep, honestly! 🥱

I find it rather puzzling that the life insurance for those over 50 seems to require you to divulge so much personal information. Strangely enough, they don't even bother to verify if you indeed fall into that age bracket! If it’s life insurance you’re after, I’d recommend skipping all that and simply searching online for your options.
