Today I had a call from one of those scammers, like loads of others seem to get. Honestly, BT and companies like them could cut out so much of this mess if they just stopped handing out phone numbers to just anyone. They’re basically helping these fraudsters make a living, all for their own profit. Selling phone numbers like that should be illegal immediately.

These scammers just want to nick your cash. The phone companies don’t bother to sort it out, and the politicians won’t lift a finger either since they’re probably getting a cut from all of it.

Got three calls from this number just today.

Over the last day, this number has rung me more than 20 times! They're attempting to get into our computers using TeamViewer remote access. It’s definitely not BT, so best not to engage with them at all.
