Got a call from this number, answered my phone and there was complete silence. Then they just ended the call right away. Seems like they might be dialing at random, trying to see which lines are actually in use before running some kind of scam.

I picked up and there was just silence for a moment, then a woman came on saying the company name, but I didn’t catch what it was, then she started with the usual “we think you’ve had an accident” spiel. Told them to take me off their list and ended the call.

Had a call from some insurance lot, at first it was an automated woman speaking. When I mentioned I'd been in an accident, they connected me to a real person. I asked to be taken off their list and then the bloke just ended the call on me. Proper rude!
