Got a call to silence from this number around 11:08 today. I’ve got my phone set to silence unknown callers so I don’t get bugged by telemarketers or scammers. No message was left. I’m pretty sure it was a scam, especially since I had a similar silent call from a different 0121 number a few days back. Seeing reports here just backs that up. A woman with an Indian accent called saying she was from O2 and offering 30% off since I'm a loyal customer. I told her I only have a rolling SIM deal and then an Indian bloke suddenly came on the line. I said I was actually checking info about this scam on my computer as we talked! He said he didn’t know anything about that and mentioned I'd get two texts with a code to apply the discount. I ended the call and haven't had any messages since.

I reported this to action fraud. The call seemed to be from O2. The people on the line had my full name, dob and email, which was creepy. They were attempting to reset my O2 password right during the call. It was a woman and a man with Indian accents.

Received a call from this number, and I can assure you, nobody from Birmingham is on my acquaintance list. They didn’t bother to speak when I answered, which raised all sorts of red flags. Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from O2, said I was picked for some exclusive offer as a valued customer (I don’t even use O2!). He promised the "best phone ever", but I told him I was fine with my current one. He goes, “Your phone’s happy? Never heard of that brand, it must be rubbish.” We had a proper weird convo - he told me I'd kick the bucket in an hour, then suggested we should go on holiday together. Finished off by calling me a b*tch. What a character!
