Been getting calls for the past week, three times now. The message was all jumbled, talking about some charge for a service I don’t even use. They told me to get in touch with my bank by pressing some buttons, but the call kept cutting out, wasn’t clear at all. Seemed like a really bad scam attempt to me!

I got a call from this number earlier, the bloke said he was from HMRC and started asking for my bank info. I didn’t fall for it and just hung up straight away. The guy sounded Asian and his English wasn’t great, so I just blocked the number after that. Seems dodgy to me.

I got two calls recently, both claiming to be from HMRC. The first one was an automated voice with an American accent, which was weird since the number started with +44. Then I got another call from a woman with an Indian accent, also saying she was from HMRC. They’re definitely trying to scam you and get your personal info. Best to just ignore and block them straight away.
