Got a random call from some bloke with a South Asian accent claiming he was ringing from 'BT'. I'm not even with BT, so no clue why he's bothering me. He went on about how BT and EE have teamed up and they're giving back £14 million to customers. Seemed fishy to me straight away, so I just cut him off, put him on block - seemed like just another scammer tryna pull a fast one. Best thing to do? Don’t even bother, just hang up and block.

I asked her, “Wait, what do I have to do so you can hack my computer then?” She just chuckled and said, “Madam, I’m not the hacker.” Didn’t bother wasting any more time and just hung up. These scammers are just absolute trash, worst kind of people.

Got a call from an Asian bloke asking how old my boiler was, said something about a government grant for replacements. Sounded like the typical rubbish, couldn’t make much out because of his accent and loads of noise like a call centre in the background. Funny to see some people here saying it’s safe and all, if it was real they’d have to come across less like a dodgy scam.
