Got a call from someone saying they were Andrea from BT Openreach. They claimed there was some suspicious activity on our internet and that it would be cut off soon. Thing is, we’ve never had BT for our internet, and we don’t own any BT equipment at all. Seriously, don’t even think about pressing 1 if you get a call like this!!!

Didn't pick up when this number called, let it ring straight to voicemail, but obviously, there was no message left. Yesterday, a mobile rang me from a different number and when I answered, no one said a word. A couple of weeks back, I answered a call from a local landline since I was waiting on an important call; it turned out to be an Amazon scam after I checked with Amazon. I’ve already reported these scammers twice today to who-called[###][###]. The first number I blocked, but then they just called from another one. Don’t fall for these lot - they’re total crooks, no doubt about it! They try telling you it’s about your Amazon Prime account. I do have an Amazon account, but no Prime membership, so I knew straight away it was a con. Remember, Amazon wouldn’t ring you up like that; they’d either send an email or drop a message in your account!

This morning around 9:37, my mum got a call from someone with a loud American accent saying they’d charge her £79. They told her to press 1 if she wanted to agree or press 3 to decline. She was smart enough to press 3 and made sure to write down the number for reference.
