I got calls from this Birmingham area code [0121] number the past two days, and it showed up legit on my caller ID. Both times it was a voicemail claiming to be about bank security stuff. Turns out it’s a scam, not the bank at all. I just ended the call and blocked the number. Still worries me that some people might fall for it. Is there any way to put an end to these dodgy calls?
