Turns out, they’re a tiny telemarketing outfit working on commission, and BT just passes your info along to them. They go by BTLB or BT Local Business, making it sound like they’re part of BT, but they’re not. They're scattered all over the country, and if you ask straight if they’re BTLB, they end up admitting they lied about being genuine BT.
