I mentioned that I had actually installed new windows about six weeks back, which led her to suggest that I must be mistaken, possibly thinking it was my wife who arranged the appointment. I clarified that my husband was indeed home when the new ones were fitted, but she seemed unconvinced and abruptly hung up on me. Quite odd, really!
