Got a weird call from someone saying they were Amazon, telling me there was a dodgy charge of over £1,000 on my account. They wanted me to press 1 or 2 to report it or something. I checked with Amazon directly and they confirmed they never ring people like that. If you get one of these, just hang up straight away, block the number and make sure to report it to Action Fraud, plus you can let Amazon know through their Customer Service section on their site (it’s all the way down at the bottom).
