Tried calling the mobile but honestly no clue how they got hold of the number. I barely use it, just keep it for emergencies and none of my mates know it either. Just saw it when I switched it on to see the battery, and there was no voicemail or anything.

This number keeps calling even though I’ve blocked it. I don’t get how that’s possible but now I’m just getting nonstop calls from unknown numbers. Sounds like it was some kind of insurance firm? The lady never gave her own name or the company’s. Honestly, the rudest, nastiest people I’ve ever come across. She started hurling horrible insults just for saying no. Got called awful names when she hung up on me (nobody should be called the c word just for asking them not to call again). I shudder to consider what might happen if an elderly person answered. That number is now blocked for good.

Got a call just as I was about to eat - missed it and tried ringing back once I finished. It went straight to tunes so I waited a bit, thinking it might be my aunt calling. My cousin in Birmingham had just died and I was expecting her call, figured I’d stay on hold. After about 5 minutes with no reply, I remembered she doesn’t usually stay on the line that long. So I looked up the number here first and saw what others said, then blocked it. Honestly, during times like these, this is the last thing anyone needs to deal with. Cheers.

10 in the morning on a Saturday, seriously? After working all week, I really don’t need these calls! This is the sixth time this week I’ve been hassled about life insurance. There should be a way to put an end to this. I’ve got a blocker on my landline which seems to do the trick, so why isn’t there anything like that for mobiles? Someone said they were from some Life Insurance review place, had my name and number already, said I must’ve done a survey about insurance interest - totally not true. Really aggressive, kept trying to set up another call with some “expert.” If you can, block the number, or at least give it a special ringtone so if they keep ringing (they seem to use an autodialler, heads up!) you won’t pick up straight away.

This person said they were calling from some firm to check on my life insurance. The woman spoke so quickly I couldn’t catch the name of the company. I asked her how she knew I had life insurance in the first place, and she said their files showed I had a policy with another firm and they wanted to offer me a better deal. I then clearly told her I don’t have any life insurance at all, never did, and I have no clue how they got my info, but they need to erase my number from their list and stop calling me. She said sorry and claimed she would make sure of that.

They were quite persuasive but I kept it short and said no thank you, I didn’t ask for a call about my life insurance so I’m not interested. Got a cold call from someone claiming to be from legal & general, saying they wanted to check if my financial policies were giving me the best deal. Funny thing is, he couldn't name any specific policies he was talking about, which makes sense as I don't have any with legal & general anyway. Might be a scam, but to be fair, he sounded quite polite and professional.
