I've had loads of calls from this number even after blocking it. They keep leaving voicemails. The person sounds American and claims they're ringing from a regional court office or something like that.

Got a voicemail asking me to ring back about some legal thing. Didn’t call them back 'cos the number was blocked afterwards. Pretty sure it’s a scam. If you do call, you might end up paying loads since it could be a pricey premium number, or worse, you might be dealing with scammers trying to get your money. Just steer clear of these dodgy calls.

I didn’t pick up, but they left a message with some robotic voice speaking in an American accent saying something like “before we move forward with legal action and take this to the local county courthouse, please call us back.” It sounded really dodgy, especially with all the messed up grammar. Having worked in the court system myself, I can tell you this isn’t how they get in touch with folks. Definitely a scam.

Got a call saying there was some "legal action" being taken against me, and they told me to call them right back!

I got a missed call from this number so I rang back. The person said it was HMRC from London. But when I asked why the number started with 0121, which isn’t a London code, they just hung up on me! I called twice more to try and get an answer and each time I asked the same thing they cut off the call straight away. Very dodgy behaviour if you ask me!

They ring you up trying to scare you with threats about some legal trouble, then want you to call them straight back. Absolute worst type of con artists!

Got some funny calls saying I need to ring this number right away, can't help but laugh at how urgent they made it sound!
