Got a call from a very courteous woman claiming she was calling from Warwick University. She said she needed to discuss workplace health issues with me. When I asked why Warwick Uni was interested in that, she mentioned it was for some research they were conducting. I thanked her but decided not to take part.

Got a call from some market research company doing a survey for Warwick Uni. They were asking loads of questions over the phone. Bit random, but kinda interesting to take part in.

I got a call from 01213680398 but didn’t pick it up. I tried calling back after blocking my number, but there was no ring or anything. Seems like a total scam to me. Definitely some sort of fraud.

I got a call from a woman with quite a thick accent saying she was doing some research for the University of Warwick. When I asked which department it was, she said HR. I looked up the number online and it seemed a bit suspicious, so I decided to ring the uni myself. Apparently, the HR lot are all working remotely at the moment (surprise, surprise), so fingers crossed someone gets back to me soon!

A woman called me asking for “the person who runs the company,” so I asked her which company she meant. She then said it was a wrong number and hung up. But when I tried ringing her back, the number didn’t seem to be valid anymore. Quite strange!

Got a call from someone with an American accent saying HMRC are looking into me for fraud. They told me to press one if I wanted to talk to a manager. Seemed dodgy to me.
