I got a call from this number and some woman with an American accent asked if I wanted to chat about online trading. I told her I wasn’t interested, and she just ended the call straight away. If I hadn’t clearly said no, I might’ve fallen for something sketchy. Definitely didn’t ask for the call and it felt a bit dodgy to me.

i got a call from a bloke claiming to be from some legal firm dealing with wills. when i asked who he worked for, he dodged the question and said someone i know had left me something in their will. i kept pushing for the company’s name but he was really quite rude about it. for a 'legal’ rep, he wasn't very professional, even asking me what my problem was before he suddenly just ended the call. felt like a total scam to me, nothing genuine about it.

i saw these comments and decided not to pick up when that number rang. glad i looked it up beforehand, coz my daughter said she got called by the same one. They told her they already talked 4 weeks back and were ringing to sort out details about her will. That sounds really risky especially for folks who might forget stuff easily!

A polite young chap called claiming to be from ‘elm tree will-writing service’. When I asked what the purpose of the call was and why they’d give a free service, he was pretty dodgy and didn’t give a straight answer. It made me worry they might be preying on vulnerable folks.
