He proceeded to request my full name, date of birth, home address, and vehicle registration number. The first call came through last night, followed by another this morning. I made it abundantly clear that I recognised the situation as a scam and informed him that I had alerted the authorities. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it seems that it doesn't extend to calls from outside the UK.
