I got a call from this number, but there was nothing at the other end - just silence the whole time. No one said a word.

I couldn’t really make out what they were saying so I just ended the call. Then I tried ringing them back but they kept cutting me off. After about 14 tries, they finally picked up. I jokingly ordered number 114, the Malaysian style chicken curry, and threw in some chips too. Haven’t bothered calling again since.

Got a call at work today from this number, with someone claiming to want to help us cut down on energy costs by installing a smart meter. The voice was definitely from overseas, though the caller ID said it was a UK number. The woman sounded pushy and a bit rude, but luckily my manager said I could be just as blunt to shut them down. They tend to ring loads for a few days, then disappear for a few weeks before coming back. Be careful and don’t share any details - it’s clearly a con.

Our office keeps getting calls from this number with someone wanting to talk to the manager. They just won't stop ringing and it's really annoying. When we try calling back, it just goes straight to voicemail and nobody picks up. I really hope the phone providers look into this dodgy outfit and take that number off the network. The people behind these calls are pretty rude and pushy, and even when you politely hang up, they ring back again and again. If you get calls from them, don’t give out any personal details at all. This business is definitely not legit. Make sure you keep reporting them to the proper authorities.
