Phoned my wife's cellphone, which is on the TPS list, and we only share it with delivery firms and close family. The caller said they were from the Road Traffic Department and insisted we’d been in some sort of crash recently. They mentioned a company called Advice Max Company, which I've never heard of and can't find any info on. I’m planning to report this to the ICO.

She seemed to miss the point when she asked me "I hear you were in an accident that wasn’t your fault, correct?" and I answered with nonsense like "Banana skins" and "Chicken livers". Absolutely pointless, just a total waste of energy and breath. Blocked her straight away!

After experiencing an accident that wasn’t due to my own actions, I engaged in a rather peculiar phone call. Initially, I agreed, and she promptly forwarded me to her supervisor. I can't help but feel the call centre was situated overseas, to be honest. The lady inquired about the timing of the incident, but my responses seemed to leave her quite perplexed. When she probed further, I clarified that I meant I have a rather unfortunate problem of wetting myself, especially whilst navigating the aisles in a supermarket - not the most dignified predicament, I must say. After a somewhat abrupt “thank you for your time”, I inquired whether she could assist me with this issue, only for the line to go dead. It seems I shan't be hearing back from her anytime soon.
