I’ve had this number pretending to be Microsoft ring me loads, but yesterday it got seriously worse. When I didn’t fall for their nonsense, the bloke actually called me an idiot. Then he phoned back and swore at me, proper nasty and aggressive. After that, they kept ringing non stop, like every few seconds! I’d pick up just to hang up straight away. Must’ve been about 20 calls in 5 minutes. I warned him I’d report it to the police, but he just laughed and said he’d keep calling me all day every day to make my life miserable. I had no choice but to unplug my landline in the end.

Got a call from someone saying he's Christopher at Microsoft, said my PC was hacked. I told him to shove off. Then they rang again about 10 minutes later but I ignored it. Definitely a scam.

Had a couple of missed calls, but finally picked up one early morning around 8.00am thinking something urgent might be up. Turns out, it was just one of those classic "Microsoft" scams trying to get into my computer. Absolutely typical!

Got a call from someone who claimed to be from Microsoft, but when I asked, he gave me some weird name I couldn’t catch. Then he started asking about what type of television I have, I jokingly said ‘Kayak’. After he asked about the camera brand, I told him ‘canoe’ and then he just ended the call. Bit of a letdown, I was hoping for a proper chat.

I was rushing to get out the door for a dentist appointment when I thoughtlessly answered my phone. Some bloke said he was calling from Microsoft and that my computer had a virus. He wanted me to let him control my PC to fix it. I told him to leave me alone as I was pressed for time, but he kept pushing his tale. When I said I knew it was a con, he seemed to have a response for everything I said, so I just ended the call abruptly!

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Microsoft. I said, "Which lot of scammers are you working for then?" She tried to calm me down, but I just kept talking over her, saying, "We both know you're a scammer, so just fess up now." I was about to say I’d report her, but she cut me off and hung up. Honestly, just let them know you’re onto their scam and planning to report it.

Twice today I got calls from this number, both times the caller said they were from Microsoft. They told me my licence had run out and that I wouldn’t be able to use my computer anymore. The second caller was pretty rude and pushy, so I just ended the call. I’d heard about this sort of scam years ago, so I was on the lookout. When I asked for their details like their name, where they were calling from, and if I could ring back later, the first person just ended the call. These folks were really unpleasant, especially the second one.

Got a call from someone named Janice claiming she worked for Microsoft. She said my PC was compromised and offered to help fix it. I didn’t fall for it though, just kept her waiting on the line, played some tunes in the background, then eventually ended the call. Well, at least while she was chatting to me she wasn’t trying to con someone else.
