Got a call from National Accident Helpline claiming I had an accident in the past two years. I told them straight up I hadn’t been in any accident and that it sounded dodgy. They kept saying they must have mixed up the details or something. I just ended up blocking the number now.

At 16:17 on 01/02/2017, I received a phone call from an unknown number. Since it was an unfamiliar caller, I chose not to answer. Later, I discovered that it was a solicitation call from the law firm, Slater & Gordon, regarding personal injury. This call was certainly unsolicited, as there is no need for a solicitor in any matter at the moment! It's worth noting that the number they called is ex-directory and registered with the TPS.

I was called by an unknown number at 16.17 on 01/02/2017. I didn't answer as I didn't recognize the caller. It turns out to be an unsolicited call from Slater & Gordon Law Firm, regarding a personal injury matter. This is definitely unsolicited as I have no need for a solicitor in any capacity.

02/02/2017. Got two calls about 20 minutes apart from 01213241111. I picked up the first one and it was an Asian lady claiming to be from some accident claims company. I said I wasn't interested but she kept trying to convince me. I ended up hanging up. When it rang the second time, I just let it go to voicemail.

I keep receiving calls like this and honestly, I'd say just don't pick up. They usually don’t bother calling again. I just let the phone ring out, even if it takes ages. If you don’t recognise the number, best just to ignore it.

Had a call from an Asian lady claiming to be Jessica Williams from the Accident Investigation Branch. She asked for the company name and said it was Central Accident Authority, giving an address in Luton postcode LU1 2BS, but the number was from Birmingham! Got a few silent calls from this number and also once got a weird voicemail saying "wrong extension". I'm on the TPS list as well.

Some bloke said he was from the Accident Investigation team and asked how I was. I told him I’d be doing better if he wasn’t calling and that I didn’t want any more calls from him as what he was doing was against the law. Also warned I’d report him if he called again (3.1.17). Then on 4.1.17, I got two calls from 0845 602 1111 but didn’t pick up. The first number he called from was 0121 324 1111.

this number kept ringing me with silence a few times then today 2.10 pm got a call with call centre noise in the background, a man with an accent calling himself david from central accident birmingham said someone linked to my number had an accident in the past two years. i asked what kind of accident and he said a minor traffic one. i told him that’s odd ‘cause no one here drives. then he admitted he probably dialled the wrong number and just hung up.

we’re ex directory and signed up to the tps. got a call from a woman called nari, sounded indian, saying she was from some accident investigation team. she was trying to see if anyone here had been in an accident. said she got our phone number from accident claims management. as soon as we mentioned the tps, she just hung up quick. clearly knew it’s illegal to call people on that list.

I received a call today, December 21st, 2016. A man with an African Nigerian accent informed me that someone had informed him about my involvement in a car accident. However, I don't drive and have never been in an accident. I politely mentioned that I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), therefore, this call to my private home telephone was against the law. He insisted that he had the right to call me and claimed he knew about my TPS registration status, emphasizing that this was an important call. Despite my repeated mentions of being TPS registered, he started yelling at me. To resolve the situation, I wished him a Happy Christmas and New Year before setting the phone aside and leaving him there. He eventually hung up after talking for 7 minutes.

I received a call from this particular number earlier today. I answered with a polite 'Hello' twice, but they abruptly ended the call. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to dial 1471 to check the number and found myself browsing this website. My advice is not to return their call; if they truly have a legitimate reason, they will make the effort to contact you again.

On 15th December at 4:09 pm, I received a phone call from this specific number. However, there was no response when I greeted with a 'Hello'. Instead of calling back, which would be a waste of your time and money, it is better to believe that important calls will be made by the caller themselves.

ive been getting loads of calls from what sounds like a call centre. most of them are from asian people speaking really broken english, saying they work for central accident management. almost all the calls come from a birmingham area code. i called central accident management in birmingham myself and they told me scammers are pretending to be them, and theyre trying to find out where the calls are coming from. they also said their company never makes calls like these out of the blue.

He asked if I'd been in an accident in the last couple of years. I just said 'if you say so, it must be true.' Then he asked again, and I said, 'Have you?' today some one rang me asking if anyone at my number had been in an accident in the past 2 years. i asked who they were and what company they worked for. he said his name was jack from central accident management and claimed he got my details from the accident advice service. weirdly enough, about an hour earlier i'd already had a call from the same company, and when i asked the lady where she got my info from she swore and then just hung up. when i told jack this, he hung up too! but not before trying to get me to confirm my address and the names of everyone living here.
