Got a call regarding some accident involving a bloke named Adam Wood, but honestly, the accent sounded way off, more like a Sanjeev or Mohamed than a proper English guy.

As soon as you pick up, they just cut the call.

somebody rang me saying they were from the national accident helpline, mentioning a recent accident which was totally made up. i actually know someone else who went through the same thing with them. as soon as they started explaining the reason for the call, i just ended it. it’s clearly a scam and i reckon they’re trying to get folks’ bank info to sort out fake payments for these accidents!
