They've rung me 11 times today. The first 5 calls, they said they were from a loan company and that they'd got my application - which I've never even sent in! Then calls 6 to 11 were about a car crash last month? I've never been in any accident nor had any damage to a car! Proper annoying and looks like a total scam to me!

Got a call from an asian lady named millie sayin i’d been in some accident but i know i wasn’t. They knew my name and what street i’m on, but i just told them i wasn’t giving out any details as ive never had any crashes. Then they even mentioned my dad’s latest car reg, super dodgy if you ask me.

This marks the second occasion this week that I've received a call from this number, and I really could do without answering it at the moment.

I’ve got no clue who was ringing me since my t#### just blocked the call for me ;-) Honestly, I can't recommend these devices enough. Totally worth the money. Now my phone stays quiet with no random calls interrupting my work! Anyone I want to hear from is on the allowed callers list. Actually, I came across this site through the t#### web control panel - just one click and it showed me this page for the number it blocked. It’s brilliant!

Got a call about some car crash scam, this bloke switched between German, French and even some African languages, but kept rambling in English. I just put the phone by the telly until he finally gave up and hung up. TPS has been a total joke for ages, and I’ve got the emails to back it up.

I got a call earlier today from a chap with an Indian accent who inquired about my well-being. When I pressed him on the reason for his call, he abruptly hung up. I traced the number using 1471, but when I tried to ring back thrice, the line was completely lifeless. Does anyone happen to know who this might be? What on earth do they want? What's the game here?

PPI stuff again, seems like they're really pushin hard to squeeze every penny from banks before 2018 ends. At least the machine left a voicemail this time. I've got 1871 enabled, so i just ignore anyone i don't know. Bit annoying tho, had to climb down my ladder just to check who it was. Marked it neutral, only got one call, handled by 1571.

I've received eight calls from this number today! Each time I picked up, there was nothing but silence on the other end before they disconnected. When I tried to return the call, it said the number wasn't valid! Can someone please put an end to this?!

Got another call today with loads of noise in the background, some bloke saying I’d been in a car crash. When I asked him how he knew, he claimed it was from the insurance company’s files. Pretty sure these are just outdated records. Sick of these annoying calls now.

There’s already a few comments here about this number, each about something different. For me, I usually just let calls I’m not expecting go to voicemail, then I have a look at this site to see what they’re about before I call back or ignore them. I didn’t pick up this one, so I don’t really have anything else to add, just that my method of handling unknown numbers suits me fine.

Got a missed call and when I rang back it went straight to an answerphone for Yorkshire cottages about bookings, but the number had a Birmingham area code. Not sure if it’s some kind of scam or just someone dialling the wrong number by accident?
