5 yearsI’m trying to get a refund for some charges linked to a loan that I don’t even possess!5 yearsI got a call from 01213181612 - they were talking about loans.5 yearsI got conned out of over £500 by this number 01213181612 claiming to be from thelowrateloan or something like that. Honestly, don’t waste your time talking to them, they’re just scammers!5 yearsMy partner and I have unfortunately fallen prey to these despicable individuals. Earlier today, I found myself in a dark place, nearly taking drastic measures due to the torment inflicted upon us by these vile specimens of humanity. Trust me, if a chap named Thomas Christopher Ian David gives you a bell, run a mile! After the trials and tribulations of settling into our new abode, all we wanted was a little bit of assistance, as we all do from time to time. So, we applied for a loan, and that’s when these horrendous people entered the scene. I could vent my frustration with some choice words, but I’ll refrain for the sake of decorum. They promised us a paltry £1000 loan, and we were understandably thrilled at first, even though they chucked in mentions of insurance-which, miraculously, was fully refundable. So, we thought, why not? We handed over the £100, convincing ourselves that everything would be just dandy. Oh, how wrong we were! After that initial payment, they then requested £225 for "tax," assuring us once again that it was refundable. Feeling somewhat hopeful, we scrabbled together the cash, only to be hit with yet another sum, totalling £1325. Brushing aside our doubts, we thought we were nearly there. But oh, the way they interacted with us-David, or whatever his real name might be, seemed like a character from a poorly written drama. When I raised my concerns, he told me to "calm down," as if my distress was unwarranted. What folly! The long and short of it is that we ended up transferring almost £1000 to these charlatans. They had the audacity to assure us everything was fine and that our money would appear bright and early at 10:15 am. Imagine my dismay when I awoke, filled with anticipation, only to discover nothing had materialised in my bank account. Instead, they demanded another £250, claiming it was needed due to a transaction made by my partner. That's when the dam truly broke. In despair, I gave up hope while my partner was inconsolable. My sister was summoned after I confided in her about my precarious state, and when she arrived, we were all in tears. She even confronted them over the phone, enduring a barrage of disgusting verbal abuse regarding private matters. I hadn’t the strength to engage any longer. We’ve exhausted every resource-borrowing from friends and family, selling personal belongings-all in pursuit of what we believed was a lifeline. The financial toll has been catastrophic; we gave away not just our savings but the money intended for our daughter's coming-of-age celebration. Now we’re stuck selling our car, hoping to begin anew from scratch. I apologise for the lengthy tale, but I feel compelled to warn others about the threat these crooks pose. I genuinely wish for no one else to endure such misery. Take care and stay safe.Thomas Christopher Ian DavidDavid5 yearsDid you fork out the £100 and were you able to get that loan?5 yearsHave you managed to secure a loan, by any chance?5 yearsToday I received a call from this number, and as luck would have it, my four-year-old picked up the phone.
