This guy claimed he was ringing from Vodafone, saying I’d been picked for a better deal, but couldn’t tell me what phone I’ve got or when my contract finishes. They quizzed me about various things like whether I smoke, my employment status, any debts I might have, and if my household earnings exceeded £20,000. Got a call that said it was a survey but they didn’t say who they were. They knew my full name and job title.
