It's absolutely absurd that if I receive a phone call from a machine, it's considered as an ICO complaint, yet if a human speaks to me, it falls under a TPS complaint. Here's a straightforward solution: Let's visit the exchange where the complained-about number is located. We'll listen to the outgoing messages for around 90 minutes but only focus on ones that are pre-recorded. If more than half of the messages are pre-recorded, we should go to the premises and simply disconnect any cables that connect the relevant telephone boxes.

Disgraceful individuals dealing with PPI claims. A pre-recorded message instructed me to press 5. Against my better judgement, I complied, only to be greeted by an American voice stating that the call was being redirected, followed by an obnoxious American-style dial tone. Initially, I had the intention to express my frustration and end the call abruptly, but after enduring over a minute of the dial tone, I grew weary and decided to hang up.

Today, I received an automated message requesting me to claim a refund. Unfortunately, the message did not mention what the refund was for. In order to ensure that my number was removed from their database, I decided to press 5 and speak to someone. I was connected to a woman who informed me that they were handling PPI claims. Understanding that this was not relevant to me, I commenced asking her to remove my number from their records. To my surprise, she abruptly ended the call. In response to this unprofessional conduct, I promptly reported them to TPS (Telephone Preference Service).
