Totally a con, they use vague lines to trick you but the fact they dont know the details shows its fake.

01213 687555 - Got an email pretending to be from PayPal about a pending payment to a company called BTC for a few hundred pounds, telling me to ring them or the money will be taken from my account. Didn't ring back as it seemed dodgy, but when I searched this number here, loads of comments came up about other 01213 numbers too.

I got a call from 01213688080, and a recorded voice asked if I was the homeowner, then started pushing some cheap solar power deal. When I asked how they got my number, the line went dead or they didn’t answer properly. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Tonight at around ###.###pm, I got another scam call from the number 01213###. This makes it the third scam call I’ve received just today, despite having my BT call blocker on. At least now that number is blocked and won’t trouble me again. It’s crazy how these scammers seem to have endless lists of numbers to call from. I only have one landline which I pay for every month, so how are they managing this? Honestly, BT should really do something to put a stop to all this nonsense that just wastes time and is really irritating. While I wasn’t at home, this number 01213 ### called me. The caller ID showed it as my mate’s name along with this number, but I was certain it wasn’t her actual phone. So, I ignored it and didn’t call back. Definitely just another sneaky scam trying to trick people.

Got a call around 2 in the afternoon from someone who somehow knew my first name. They claimed it was about some debts I supposedly owed. I asked them to specify what debts, but they couldn’t give any details. Then they said the government had given them my info so they could help clear my debts with zero interest. Thing is, I don’t owe a single thing. No mortgage, no loans, never used a credit card. I always save up first. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

01213594741 Got a robo call from a woman with an American accent saying my Amazon card was being charged and to hit 1 if I wanted to stop it. Funny thing is, she'd called me before about my Barclay card being debited. Bit odd since I don’t own either card, but seems like she’s putting effort into hunting me down.

Hey, can someone pls help the poor folks stuck in Mumbai? There’s no direct train from CST (now VT) to Ranchi or even Koderma. Mumbai workers really need some blessings coz it seems like only one train via Allahabad runs, and that’s been the case for years now. It’s super tough for them, surely there should be at least two trains a day. It’s really sad situation - pls help us out, for God’s sake!
