After we got our takeaway from the local Indian place, we got a call from a private number. The person on the phone said they were the Manager of the restaurant and wanted to offer us a VIP dining card for £25 a year. Supposedly, this card would give us buy one main meal get one free. It all sounded a little dodgy, so we said we'd think about it and they'd ring us the next day. They never called when promised, but later on, our phone showed two missed calls from private numbers and then four more from 01212850381. No voicemail or messages were left though.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from this Indian spot, Mowchak, on Plomer Green Ave in High Wycombe. Pretty sure it was a scam. They wanted me to buy some VIP card for £25. Not interested at all.

I received a call from this number on the 2nd of May, which happened to be a bank holiday - of all times! I didn't answer it, and after doing a bit of digging on another website, I discovered that this number has quite a few negative reviews. Apparently, it's linked to a call centre in Guernsey, which is situated in Birmingham, UK. One person even mentioned that when they answered, there was total silence on the line! Honestly, if it were someone I knew, they'd reach out through more reliable channels. If this number tries to ring me again, there's absolutely no chance I’ll be picking up that call!

Got a call from this number and some bloke with an Indian accent said he was calling from Tandoori Nights, which he claimed was a lovely little restaurant in the local area. Something about it didn’t sit right with me though. Just another annoying call, I reckon.
