I have a strong suspicion that this is a fraudulent call. It appears they begin with 0121 284 and then cleverly alter the final four numbers.

I got loads of calls from them over the past week. At last, they called when I wasn’t tied up or in the car, so I picked up. They tried pushing me to change my phone provider. As soon as I mentioned I’m self-employed, they just ended the call. Best to stay clear of them.

Heads up, got a call at my work from someone claiming to be British Gas. They somehow had all my company info and tried to rush me into agreeing to a contract. Felt really dodgy so I rang British Gas directly, and they said it was definitely a scam. Very suspicious how they acted like they knew everything. Since they now have my bank details, I’m reporting it straight away.

Got a call from someone pushing estate security, and they already had my full name and address. When I asked how they got my details and requested to speak to a manager about taking down this info, they just cut me off. Honestly, just ignore these calls!

I set my phone so it only rings if numbers on my approved list call, everything else gets blocked automatically. So now, if a number isn’t on the yes list, it won’t get through to my phone. Makes blocking unwanted calls super easy.
