Got calls from this number 3 times. When I said I wasn’t up for a survey and it wasn’t a good time, they ignored the data protection rules. I asked them to take my number off their list but was flat out refused, then the call got cut off. I’ve blocked this number now.

01212840621 calls nearly every day. Most of the time, no one answers, but when they do, it’s a woman with a strong foreign accent that’s hard to understand. She keeps going on about changing a boiler - which is strange because I don’t even have one!

JUST GOT A CALL A FEW MINUTES AGO FROM 01212840621 CLAIMING SOMETHING ABOUT A UK ENERGY GRANT FOR A NEW BOILER. THEY KEPT ASKING IF MY BOILER WAS GAS, OIL, OR ELECTRIC BUT THEIR ENGLISH WAS REALLY BAD, HARD TO FOLLOW. DEFINITELY SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM, PROBABLY TRYING TO GET CASH IN ADVANCE FOR A BOILER THAT DOESN'T EXIST. I IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP. TOTAL RIP-OFF.

Last week, I received a rather disturbing pre-recorded message from this number on my answering machine. The caller was quite forceful, warning of potential legal ramifications if I failed to return their call. The tone was highly menacing, and I couldn't help but think how distressing it could be for someone older to receive such a communication. This surely reeks of a scam, without a doubt!

0121284062 called me and claimed to be from hmrc, left a message sayin it was really ‘urgent’ and i had to reply quickly. Then they rang again sayin i needed a lawyer because i was being sued for unpaid tax. That’s not how hmrc do things, they always send letters first if there’s any issues. Plus, all their numbers start with 0300 now, not normal area codes! Definitely a scam.
