Got a call from some person saying they were with the "IVA service" about some debt I supposedly owe. Didn’t stick around for their spiel, just ended the call and blocked the number right away. What a waste of time.

Some bloke called me with a strong Indian accent saying he was ringing from Citizens Advice. I told him straight up he wasn’t and ended the call. Then I blocked the number. Loads of others have reported this same number too. Why hasn’t the police sorted it out yet? These scammers are like vermin.

Received a call via Viber, of all things! Instead of ringing my number straight, they opted for the Viber application, which I can only compare to WhatsApp. There was no one on the other end, so I eventually hung up and decided to do a bit of searching online. It all seems rather suspicious, so I’d advise steering clear of sharing any personal information with them!

Got a few calls over a few days, finally answered it. The number looked like it was from Birmingham but sounded like it was coming from abroad. Could barely understand the bloke on the line. He kept saying he wasn’t selling me anything. Even when I told him to take me off the list and that I wasn’t interested, he just kept going. I only got him to hang up after I said "I'm proper fed up now" for the third time. Definite BLOCK from me.

I just had an utterly dreadful experience with a call from this number. They purported to be from the "Private Investigations Unit" or something along those lines. The call quality was so atrocious that I nearly hung up before I could even manage to, as the line just went silent. I've already reported this through the Action Fraud app, and you can do the same using their phone number (03001232040) or by visiting their website (actionfraud.police.uk). It's crucial that we put a stop to these despicable individuals who prey on vulnerable people and cause unnecessary fear. Absolutely disgraceful! The caller was a woman with an Indian accent, but I missed her name.

Absolutely atrocious call! I had this chap on the other end with an accent so thick I could barely make out a word. He insisted on addressing me as 'Mr Jamie' and claimed to represent a debt recovery agency, alleging that I owed some sort of funds to the government due to a non-existent overdraft. Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with a debt collection firm. I asked him for the company's name, and he gave me one. So I rang them up, and they told me I don’t owe anything. They didn’t explain how they ended up with my number though. I asked if they found it odd or were worried about it, but they just kept saying I have no debt. Pretty frustrating really.
