Got a call saying they where from the citizens advice about some money I apparently owed. It was so ridiculous, bit of a pain really. I reckon it could easily fool someone who’s not careful with these sorts of scams.

Got a call from some person saying they were with the "IVA service" about some debt I supposedly owe. Didn’t stick around for their spiel, just ended the call and blocked the number right away. What a waste of time.

Some bloke called me with a strong Indian accent saying he was ringing from Citizens Advice. I told him straight up he wasn’t and ended the call. Then I blocked the number. Loads of others have reported this same number too. Why hasn’t the police sorted it out yet? These scammers are like vermin.

Got a ring from this number earlier. The bloke said he was from the Citizens Advice Bureau and actually confirmed it when I asked. Just got a call from this number on a really scratchy line. The person said they were from the “Private Investigations Department,” but the call was so choppy I was about to hang up anyway, then it just cut off on its own. I’ve reported it through the Action Fraud app - if you want, you can use their phone number (03001232040) or check online at actionfraud.police.uk. These fraudsters are preying on folks who might get scared or confused. Proper nasty behaviour! The caller was a woman with an Indian accent, didn’t get her name though.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with a debt collection firm. I asked him for the company's name, and he gave me one. So I rang them up, and they told me I don’t owe anything. They didn’t explain how they ended up with my number though. I asked if they found it odd or were worried about it, but they just kept saying I have no debt. Pretty frustrating really.
