Somebody called me trying to push these cleaning gadgets, but I just said no thanks 'cause they were way too pricey. Maybe I'd consider getting them if they weren't so costly.

Got a call in the dead of night around 3 or 4 am, and I usually don’t pick up numbers I don’t recognise. A few days earlier, I did answer one just ‘hello’ and some bloke said ‘hello’ back which really gave me the heebie-jeebies so I just hung up. Then they rang straight back again but I ignored it this time.

This morning I woke up to four missed calls, didn’t hear them since I was asleep. When I called back, the person said I could win a gift card if I just filled out a link they’d send me. I’ve been caught out by this kind of thing before and got scammed, so there’s no way I’m falling for it a second time.
