I had a rather curious phone call from this number the other day. As I'm ex-directory, I was quite puzzled as to how they managed to get hold of my digits. The individual on the other end was attempting to gain my consent for someone to swing by my residence and chat about Rancom Security systems. I've since fired off an email to Rancom, firmly asking them to halt any further calls and to verify whether this caller is indeed affiliated with their company or acting on their behalf. If I don’t get a response, I’ll have no choice but to escalate the matter to the authorities and report it to the Telephone Preference Service.
