It seems that Amazon has been making the rounds.

Fortunately, my mother-in-law left the call unanswered. I did a bit of digging and ended up blocking the number. Cheers to everyone for flagging it!

I received a rather alarming phone call stating that my National Insurance number would be suspended unless I engaged in a conversation with one of their representatives. They even suggested that failing to respond would constitute a "criminal act." How preposterous!

When I get a call from an unfamiliar number, I prefer to hold off until they start talking or I offer my assistance—I've never been one to simply say ‘hello’! Interestingly, they hung up this time around, only to ring back a couple of days later. That number's already been blocked, though!

What a riot I had! I decided to have a bit of fun and provided a bogus name along with a made-up postcode. When I was asked for my National Insurance number, I really went for it and claimed I had a whopping £155,098 in my bank! The chap on the other end clearly assumed I was some sweet old dear living by herself! I received a rather dodgy automated call claiming that I was on the verge of losing my national insurance number. Honestly, they must be complete numpties! If they were genuine Brits, they would've a better understanding of how the system functions. Perhaps they ought to consider finding proper employment and contributing to the national insurance like the rest of us!

I recently got a ring from this number, but alas, I missed it. When I attempted to return the call, it disconnected straight away. After glancing through everyone’s feedback and noticing the flurry of comments in the past day or so, it’s clear this is a fresh scam popping up. Received a dodgy call at 12:07 on the 24th of September, 2021, from 01212506777 claiming to be from Birmingham. They mentioned there was some alleged action being taken against me and urged me to press 1 to chat with an officer. Quite the cheeky con, if you ask me!

It felt as though the message was being barked at me—quite alarming, to say the least. In my confusion, exacerbated by a dreadful cold and a pounding headache, I hit '1' to learn more, though I barely caught half of the automated spiel. The voice on the line had an unmistakably foreign accent and his tone was exceedingly aggressive, demanding my name with a sense of urgency. When I asked for his name, he replied curtly and when I inquired about his whereabouts, he turned the tables and insisted that I was the problem, promptly terminating the call. How rude! The whole experience left me quite on edge, as the aggressive manner of the call was really unsettling. It baffles me how individuals can stoop so low and invade the personal space of others without a second thought!
